King Vegeta is the father of the Saiya-jin bearing the same name. Unlike most Saiya-jin parents, he does not send his son to a distant world at birth, and fosters the boorish and stubborn Vegeta we all know and love. Although he is one of the strongest warriors on Planet Vegeta, King Vegta is killed by Freeza rather easily.
